What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is an action using certain breathing techniques for extended periods of time, anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours.

Conscious Connected Breath Journeys

A breathwork journey is different for every person every single time.

It's an immersive experience I will guide you through a deep breathing session using conscious connected breath and specifically curated music that will alter your physical, emotional and mental state. Using inquiry and prompts allowing your receptivity and openness to expand. You decide the pace and intensity.

  • For some people this may be mental, seeing their patterns objectively, what’s working for them, what's not and gain that radical insight on how to get through it. An acceleration of personal transformation
  •  For some people it may be emotional. Coming to new realizations about life or allowing old wounds to surface and release. Balance
  • For some, it may be spiritual. Having a conversation with your higher self, the infinite field of intelligence. Connectedness
  • Others it may be relaxing and meditative. True liberation
  • And others it may be very physical.  With vibrating sensations and spontaneous movement allowing the body to let go. Suspending judgement
  • And it can be all of the above or none of the above.

HOW TO PREPARE

If your breathwork is on zoom, be sure to have a computer or phone. Headphones are not a necessity, but they REALLY add to the experience.

· Allow 75 minutes for yourself undisturbed with room to lie down.

· Wear lose and comfy clothing, especially nothing that restricts the stomach, diaphragm or lungs.

· Try not to eat an hour or two before a Breathwork session. However, it is best to not come hungry. Eating something light and easy to digest is preferred such as a smoothie, tea, fruit, etc. If you can, before the session stretch your body and move a little, especially your lower back.

· Create your nest by bringing blankets, mats, bolsters, perhaps an eye mask, a journal and water.

Disclaimer- Please consult with your physician before participating in a breathwork session. Breathwork is not advised for those who are pregnant, have cardio vascular disease, glaucoma, detached retina, uncontrolled diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy or diagnosed with certain psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
